One of the most popular attractions in the whole of London, the official residence of the Queen, Buckingham Palace is a truly fascinating visit. You can explore the beautiful, lavishly furnished State Rooms and look for some of the Royal Collection's greatest treasures. Exhibitions change here over time and so even if you have visited this Palace before, there is always something new to see. One of the most interesting exhibitions is the children’s hall which displays toys and furniture from the younger years of the Queen, Charles, and even William and Harry. Other highlights include paintings by Rembrandt, Poussin and Canaletto, sculptures by Canova and Sèvres porcelain. This attraction is accessed via the Victoria Tube at stations including Victoria, Green Park, St James’s Park or Hyde Park Corner. It is only a 14-minute taxi ride, or 27 minute tube journey door to door.
