If you are visiting London and planning your trip, then a visit to experience Shakespeare’s Globe, a fully working open air theatre on Bankside, is not to be missed. The Globe is a reconstruction of the open-air playhouse designed in 1599 where many of Shakespeare's plays were performed ‘in the round.’ The Globe puts on many of Shakespeare’s plays as dramatic each year. You will have to make sure you get your tickets in advance via their box office, as places get booked up very quickly. You can also experience guided tours here, and as well as a bar and restaurant, there is also a gift shop to complete your visit.
